Britannia will not be returning for a fourth season. The historical fiction drama, which aired on Sky in the UK and EPIX (now MGM+) in the United States, has been cancelled, leaving a significant cliffhanger unresolved, per Deadline.
Starring Kelly Reilly, David Morrissey, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Liana Cornell, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Mackenzie Crook, Barry Ward, Stanley Weber, Joe Armstrong, Fortunato Cerlino, Callie Cooke, Aaron Pierre, Eleanor Worthington-Cox, Zoë Wanamaker, Ian McDiarmid, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Hugo Speer, Daniel Caltagirone, Zaqi Ismail, and Annabel Schol, the Britannia series is set in the year 43 AD as the Romans invade Britain.

The series has ended with its 27th episode. The story ends with a cliffhanger in which Cait (Cox) is betrayed by her mentor, who has wed General Aulus.
The series was created by Jez Butterworth, his brother Tom Butterworth, and James Richardson.

Austin Theory is fighting his childhood idol, John Cena, on “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” WrestleMania, but the current WWE United States Champion wants everyone to know he’s not trying to be a Cena 2.0 — telling TMZ Sports, “I don’t want to be a rip-off.”
We spoke with Theory ahead of his highly-anticipated match with Cena for the U.S. title at ‘Mania … and he put into perspective what the moment means to him considering John played a role in his desire to be a professional wrestler.
“Being eight years old and knowing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life because of John Cena and that is be a WWE Superstar. That was the first time I seen wrestling and I was inspired. And I went straight to the TV and I’d watch John every single week.”
Theory and Cena made their match for the U.S. Championship at WrestleMania official two weeks ago … during an intense segment where the latter reminded the WWE Universe that he can still cut a promo with the best of them.
“We did have a moment,” Theory said about his encounter with Cena. “A face-to-face on Monday Night Raw. He had a lot of things to say to me. In that moment, it’s very cool to be out there with John Cena but I’m in a different place now.”
Austin told us he’s tired of people constantly comparing him to Cena — a 13-time WWE Champion, widely recognized as the G.O.A.T. in the promotion’s history — especially after he’s worked so hard along his journey to establish his own identity.
“I don’t want to hear that anymore,” Theory said. “I want to be the first Austin Theory and I want people to see that. I don’t want to be a rip-off of anybody and at WrestleMania, I’m going to show everybody just how different Austin Theory is.”
“My mindset going into this match is all about me,” Theory said. “I can’t go in there and get swallowed by this giant John Cena story. I know the crowd’s going to be crazy for him. ‘Let’s Go Cena’ and ‘Cena sucks.’ Even the people saying ‘Cena Sucks,’ they love him, too.”
Theory said after he retains his U.S. title by defeating Cena on Saturday at SoFi Stadium, he’s “going straight to the top” … adding “The world is mine. That’s where I go. Take over the world.”
Kim Kardashian knows just how to market her super successful swimwear line … by making herself the star attraction.
Kim was spotted on the shores of Malibu last week in a bright pink bikini and surrounded by a team of what we can only assume are photogs, creative directors and her beauty squad. You can see Kim got right into it, even getting down to take some shots on the sand.
Of course, it’s been relatively chilly in Los Angeles as of late, so there was also someone there to cover Kim up with a robe to keep her warm when the camera wasn’t in use.
We don’t know for sure, but it appears the shoot had something to do with Kim’s SKIMS swim line.
Kim’s gotten super creative with the marketing for the popular line lately, even channeling a galaxy far far away for an alien-themed shoot as of late.
But as you can see, nothin’ beats a beach babe in a bikini.
The end of EZ’s journey is in sight.

News broke that the series would wrap up in January, leading to questions about whether fans are in for a conclusive ending.
Thankfully, J.D. Pardo quelled those fears on social media in response to fans, revealing that the decision to end the show was creative-driven.
Sometimes, shows naturally come to an end, and truthfully, many more shows should follow suit.
It’s always best to go out when fans still want more.
Thankfully, Mayans M.C. has remained creatively strong throughout, and there will be many questions as we head into the final episodes.

Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard is Bravo’s new reality series, a spinoff of Summer House, that is set to premiere Sunday, May 7 at 9 p.m. ET.
The new show features an all-Black cast vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard, an island south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and one of the first beach destinations where African Americans could vacation and purchase property.

Meet the cast of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard:
Fresh off their summer wedding, Jasmine (New York) and Silas (New York) Cooper have invited a group of friends—some old and some new—to vacation with them in Martha’s Vineyard and are now trying to figure things out in a house full of hot, successful urban professionals.
Amir Lancaster (Austin), new to Martha’s Vineyard and looking to learn about its Black history and connect to his roots, falls hard for a housemate.
Jordan Emanuel (New York) has been friends with Jasmine since their Playboy Bunny days and still loves to have a good time with her—maybe too good of a time for Silas’ tastes.
Preston Mitchum (Washington, DC), a Black queer activist who likes to speak his mind about a variety of things, is excited to spend time with his fraternity brother Silas and the group.
Fashionista Bria Fleming (Germany) is in a new relationship despite being surrounded by eligible men, but when she brings a different kind of houseguest to the rental, her friendships are sorely tested.
Alex Tyree (New York), who lives a life of intention without drinking and tries to persuade his friends to do the same, is juggling the advances of a housemate.
Quintessential party girl Shanice Henderson (Phoenix) is ready to turn-up this summer, but when she finds out someone in the house is spreading rumors about her past, things go left.
Jason Lyke (New York) is the counselor for the group but often finds himself at the center of the drama.
Discovering Martha’s Vineyard for the first time, Summer Marie Thomas (Los Angeles) intends to have the best possible time while getting her flirt on.
Nicholas “Nick” Arrington (New York), a self-proclaimed style savant who has an outfit ready for every outing, competes with Amir for a housemate’s affection.
Mariah Torres met Jasmine in college and is also close with several members of the group. She’s looking forward to spending the summer with her friends, but things become heated in the house after an argument gets out of hand.
Tipsy the Panda won’t be back to wreak more havoc this summer. ABC has reportedly cancelled The Final Straw so there won’t be a second season. The first season of 10 episodes debuted in July and finished airing last September.
A primetime game show, The Final Straw TV series is a larger-than-life Jenga-style competition hosted by Janelle James. Four teams of contestants compete in a battle against gravity and physics. They attempt to remove items from life-sized themed stacks chock full of household objects, ranging from basketballs to small kitchen appliances. The host is sometimes joined onstage by the mischievous Tipsy the Panda, who is hell-bent on destroying the stacks. If the tower falls, that team is eliminated. The last team standing will compete against The Mega Stack for a chance to win the grand prize of $250,000.
Airing on Sunday nights, the first season of The Final Straw averages a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.09 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). It was one of the alphabet network’s lower-rated series last summer.
The fates of Holey Moley and To Tell the Truth have yet to be announced by ABC, but they weren’t among the network’s summer plans. In January 2022, Truth host Anthony Anderson said that seven seven had already been filmed but those episodes have seemingly been rolled into the sixth season of 27 episodes.
What do you think? Have you checked out The Final Straw on ABC? Are you sorry that this game show has been cancelled and won’t be back for a second season?
