‘Mythic Quest’ Season 2 Trailer: Rob McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao & Team Prepare For The Big Expansion

“We’ve been working really well together,” Ian tells the executive producer about his office relationship with the newly promoted co-creative director, Poppy. A blow-up fist bumps ensues, but then they’re told: “I’ve seen this kind of rapport — it’s the calm before the divorce.”

Here’s the first full trailer for Season 2 of Mythic Quest, Apple TV+’s comedy starring Rob McElhenney and Charlotte Nicdao that returns May 7.

The series follows the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all time. Season 2 finds everyone back in the office (well, almost everyone), attempting to build upon the success of Raven’s Banquet by launching an epic new expansion. But Ian (McElhenney) and the newly promoted co-creative director, Poppy (Nicdao), struggle with the game’s direction. Meanwhile, C.W. (F. Murray Abraham) reconciles some unresolved issues from his past, the testers (Ashly Burch and Imani Hakim) test the bounds of an office romance, and David (David Hornsby) loses yet another woman in his life as Jo (Jessie Ennis) leaves him to assist Brad (Danny Pudi).

The second-season ensemble also includes Naomi Ekperigin, Caitlin McGee, Humphrey Ker, Chris Naoki Lee and Jonathan Wiggs. Season 2 guest stars include Snoop Dogg and Drunk History‘s Derek Waters.

Mythic Quest is produced by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and Ubisoft. McElhenney, Day and Hornsby executive produce alongside Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, Gérard Guillemot, David Hornsby and Megan Ganz.
